Contest rules
Every share entitles you to one ticket. So to maximize your chances of winning, you may share several times on different platforms. For a share to be registered, at least one person needs to start the carbon calculator via the link you share.
The winners are announced once per year and are notified via email.
The prize consists of gift cards for climate-friendly services. Which gift cards are included will vary over time, depending on supply and demand as well as verification that the services are climate-friendly. For example, gift cards may be from companies such as Airbnb, Spotify and HelloFresh.
Prizes are awarded to 10 people with the following distribution:
- 1st place: $300
- 2nd place: $200
- 3rd place: $100
- 4th-10th place: $50
The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Any taxes that may be owed for the prizes are to be paid by the winners. ClimateHero reserves the right to adjust the contest rules if necessary.
